Criticism of Trump’s statements about America’s lack of support for its allies in NATO
Jens Stoltenberg, the Secretary General of NATO, has criticized the statements of Donald Trump, the former president of the United States and the presidential candidate of this country, regarding the lack of sufficient support of the United States to NATO member countries against a possible Russian invasion.
He said in a statement that Trump’s statements put American and European soldiers at greater risk.
NATO Secretary General warned that any attack on this military pact will be met with a strong response.
Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kuciniak Kamisz also reacted to Trump’s comments and wrote on X social network that NATO’s slogan is “one for all, all for one”.
Charles Michel, the head of the European Union Council, called these statements “irresponsible” and called them in favor of Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia.
