At the beginning of the new academic year 1403 in Afghanistan, Amnesty International has called the excuses of the Taliban about keeping girls’ schools closed as “futile” and “illusory”.
This organization condemned this action of the Taliban as discrimination against the people of Afghanistan and asked them to open the gates of schools for girls above the sixth grade.
One of the female students informed this international institution that her dreams were destroyed because she was denied the right to education.
The Ministry of Education of the Taliban also rang the education bell at the beginning of the new academic year without the presence of girls.
Almost three years have passed since the deprivation of female students above the sixth grade in Afghanistan. After regaining control of Afghanistan on August 15, 2021, the Taliban have deprived girls of education and work.
After nearly three years of Taliban rule, the field of education for girls in Afghanistan has not yet been provided. Afghanistan is the only country in the world where girls are denied the right to education.
