The Afghan Women’s Powerful Movement has called on the international community to take action to save the Afghan people, especially women.
They declared August 15 as a “dark day in the lives of Afghans,” highlighting that women, as half of society, have been entirely excluded.
In a statement on Saturday, 10 Aug, they emphasized that Afghans have been under the tyranny of a terrorist group for three years, losing all rights and values. The movement urged global support for a national process to form an inclusive government.
