Massive Ukrainian Drone Strikes Hit Russia’s Krasnodar Region

Russian officials in the southern Krasnodar region reported extensive Ukrainian drone attacks across various areas on Friday. Governor Veniamin Kondratiev confirmed via Telegram that the strikes targeted Krymsk and Krasnoarsk districts, resulting in material damage but no casualties.

The Telegram channel “Astra” reported that the attacks targeted the Krymsk airbase, located in the northern part of the city, which Russian forces use to launch attacks on southern Ukraine. Ukraine has not yet commented on these operations.

The Russian Defense Ministry claims its air defense systems shot down 51 Ukrainian drones over the occupied Crimean Peninsula and destroyed another 36 drones in the Krasnodar region. These attacks came shortly after Russia conducted extensive strikes on Ukraine’s Odesa city, resulting in one woman’s death and at least 10 injuries.
