Taliban Borders Minister Visits Paktika After Pakistani Airstrikes
In the wake of Pakistani military airstrikes on Paktika province in January 2025, Noorullah Noori, the Taliban’s Minister of Borders, Tribes, and Ethnic Groups, along with a delegation from the group’s Defense Ministry, has traveled to Paktika to investigate these attacks.
The airstrikes in Barmal district resulted in the deaths of 46 people, including women and children, and left several others injured.
More than 24 hours after the Pakistani airstrikes, the Taliban has yet to take any concrete action in response.
