Mehr News Agency reported today (Friday, June 27, 2025) that Iranian authorities have ordered the Law Enforcement Command of the Islamic Republic of Iran (FARAJA) to deport all illegal immigrants from the country.

Ahmad Ali Goudarzi, the commander of FARAJA border guards, announced that organizing the situation of illegal immigrants is among the “public demands” of the Iranian people.

According to the issued orders, rental or property documents that have been made available to Afghan immigrants are declared void, and these properties will be sealed and confiscated.

These measures are part of the Iranian government’s new policies to manage unauthorized foreign nationals in the country.

Meanwhile, according to Bakhtar News Agency, more than one hundred thousand Afghan immigrants have entered Afghanistan from Iran in the past week.

The intensification of these deportations began simultaneously with the Iran-Israel war, when a number of Afghan immigrants were arrested on charges such as “complicity with Israel.”
