Sources report to Amu that the Ministry of Public Health under Taliban management has dismissed 17 staff members and doctors from the 100-bed hospital in Dasht-e-Barchi area of Kabul.
These employees and physicians include both women and men.
Sources say the 100-bed Dasht-e-Barchi hospital lacks necessary support from the Ministry of Public Health under Taliban administration.
The hospital now operates only in general internal medicine, malnutrition, pediatrics, and a few other limited departments.
The Ministry of Public Health under Taliban administration has not commented on this matter so far.
This action has increased concerns about the state of healthcare services in Afghanistan.
