Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi revealed a shocking secret about his childhood, admitting he never used a toothbrush or toothpaste for nearly 20 years of his life. Instead, he cleaned his teeth with neem twigs or guava sticks in his small village.
During filming of “Mirzapur: The Film,” Tripathi shared that his village had no marketplace until he was 19, with no tradition of birthday celebrations, cakes, or gifts. Even today, when shooting in small towns, he asks his staff to bring him neem twigs because of the unique pleasure in using them.
The National Award-winning actor believes his journey proves that anything is possible, stating that despite such humble beginnings, he managed to become a successful actor. His teeth remained perfectly clean and healthy throughout those years without modern dental care.
