Interior Minister Sirajuddin Haqqani, in a speech to ministry staff, emphasized the necessity of “honest service” to the people.
He urged security forces to maintain the dignity and status he said God has bestowed upon them and to treat the public well.
Haqqani clarified that full implementation of decrees from Taliban leader Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada is mandatory for all employees.
He added that these decrees are for the benefit of the individuals and the system, making obedience a fundamental principle for internal cohesion.
The Interior Minister also stressed discipline and accountability, warning against any behavior that could bring disrepute to the regime.
According to him, the survival of the system depends on obedience to leadership and service to the public.
