Regions including Badakhshan, Takhar, Kunduz, Baghlan, Balkh, and Herat are at risk of flash floods due to the expected precipitation.
Forecasts predict rainfall between 10 to 30 mm and snowfall up to 35 mm in various areas.
Additionally, severe winds ranging from 50 to 90 km/h are expected to sweep through central provinces and the Salang Pass.
Citizens are advised to prepare for harsh weather conditions. There is a significant possibility of road closures and flooding in vulnerable areas over the coming days .
