A UN official told Reuters on Wednesday that UNAMA estimates the death toll from Pakistan's attacks on a drug rehabilitation center in Kabul at 143 people. The Taliban had previously claimed that more than 400 people were killed and 265 injured in Monday night's Pakistani airstrikes on Kabul.

Pakistan, however, has rejected the Taliban's claim about targeting the addiction treatment center and stated that it targeted military facilities and infrastructure linked to terrorist groups. The UN mission in Afghanistan said that the drug treatment center in Kabul was "affected" by Pakistan's airstrike.

UNAMA said in a statement that "dozens" were killed or injured in this attack. UNAMA had not officially announced the exact casualty figures from Pakistan's recent attacks on Kabul. #Afghanistan #Kabul #UN #Pakistan #Airstrikes
