The deputy spokesman for the Taliban government has announced that recent Pakistani cross-border attacks have killed two Afghan civilians and wounded 25 others. The intensive military strikes heavily targeted communities across the eastern provinces of Kunar, Paktika, and Khost.
According to official statements, the Pakistani military utilized combat drones and heavy long-range artillery to bombard residential border areas. Tragically, several young children are counted among the innocent casualties and severely injured victims of these ongoing military operations.
These escalating border clashes are paradoxically occurring while diplomatic delegations from the Taliban government and Pakistan engage in peace negotiations in China.
