During their extensive discussions, the officials specifically addressed the activities of armed groups like the Pakistani Taliban and the East Turkestan Islamic Movement. Both sides firmly agreed to synchronize their anti terrorism efforts to protect regional peace and ensure long term stability.
Previously, the Chinese special representative visited Kabul to hold talks with the foreign minister of the Taliban government. Those prior meetings also heavily emphasized the importance of advancing regional dialogues and achieving practical results for border security.
