A major trade and economic forum between Afghanistan and Kazakhstan recently opened in Kabul, attended by senior Taliban government officials and a Kazakh delegation. Additionally, an exhibition showcasing industrial products from both nations was successfully launched.
The Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Taliban government highlighted a significant increase in bilateral trade volume. He strongly encouraged foreign investors to actively invest in various domestic sectors, particularly in mining, energy, and agriculture.
Kazakh officials emphasized that lasting stability in Afghanistan remains crucially important for the entire regional economy. Given the rising transit challenges at traditional seaports, Central Asian countries are gaining vital strategic importance for Afghanistan's commercial future.
