The Afghanistan Football Federation has officially announced the appointment of Dejan Dedovic, an experienced Serbian coach, as the new head coach of the national futsal team. Dedovic has signed a two year contract to lead the national squad.
He replaces Majid Rezaei from Iran, whose tenure as head coach ended earlier this year in May. The official contract was signed during a press conference in Kabul by the head of the Afghanistan futsal committee alongside the new coach.
During the event, the federation also introduced the new technical staff, which includes specialized coaches and analysts from Spain, Brazil, and Iran. The federation hopes this international expertise will elevate Afghan futsal on the regional and global stage.
