Taliban government officials in Panjshir province have confirmed that four young children were killed in a horrific traffic accident. The incident occurred on Friday, July 10, in the Hesa Awal district.
Reports indicate that a speeding Corolla struck and killed the four minors. The driver was reportedly a domestic tourist who had traveled to the mountainous province for a recreational visit.
The provincial spokesperson for the Taliban government stated that the driver has been arrested. Panjshir's narrow and winding roads are notoriously dangerous and frequently witness such fatal accidents.
