Local sources in Nimroz province confirm that nineteen Afghan citizens tragically went missing while attempting to smuggle themselves into neighboring Iran. So far, search teams have only discovered the lifeless bodies of five individuals buried under the sand dunes.
These desperate migrants reportedly got completely lost in the vast Margo desert last week while trying to cross the border illegally. Security forces are currently using military helicopters to search for the remaining fourteen missing people.
