UN Secretary-General António Guterres has called on the Taliban to immediately lift the ban preventing Afghan women from working in United Nations offices.
He also urged the Taliban to remove all restrictions imposed on Afghan women and girls and to guarantee their rights to full and equal participation in society.
Tomorrow, September 7, marks one year since the ban was imposed.
