Last month’s floods have destroyed roads and bridges connecting 17 villages in Dangam district of Kunar province, leaving residents in serious hardship.
Locals say destroyed bridges have trapped doctors and patients on both sides of the river. Taliban government officials have yet to take action to solve the problem.
