Aisha Wahab’s success as the first Afghan-American woman elected to the California State Senate is a proud moment for our Afghan-American community. It shows that with hard work, determination, and the trust of the people, anyone can reach important positions in government.
I wish Aisha Wahab continued success and hope to see more Afghans, especially Afghan women, making a difference in politics and society.
