Local Taliban officials in Ghazni say that following a traffic incident in this province, six people have died and one other has been injured.
Izzatullah Saidi, spokesman for the Taliban governor in Ghazni, told media on Monday, September 8th, that this incident occurred last night on the Kabul-Kandahar highway, in the “Kotel Rawza” area in Ghazni province territory.
According to Izzatullah, a woman and four children are also among the victims. In this incident, a 580 passenger bus collided with a “Paso” vehicle.
The cause of this incident has not been determined. Recent traffic incidents in various provinces of the country have left heavy casualties.
This accident occurred while the Kabul-Kandahar highway, especially between Ghazni-Qalat and Kandahar, always witnesses unfortunate traffic accidents.
The main factor of these collisions is drivers’ carelessness, especially drivers of passenger buses and heavy vehicles on this route.
