Students admitted to Laghman University complain about oppressive room rental conditions.

The Laghman municipality market providing rooms for students has imposed unreasonable conditions approved by Taliban intelligence, the notorious Amr Bil Maroof, and the finance department.

According to these conditions, every four students must elect a leader who represents their actions. Additionally, electricity bills and rent are collected at the beginning of each month, even before using electricity.

Students consider these conditions unreasonable, restrictive, and one-sided, designed to discourage Afghan youth from pursuing education.

Students demand the construction of dormitories to prevent rental problems and believe these conditions hinder their academic progress.

The oppressive rental terms reflect broader challenges facing Afghan students under current restrictions.
