The Taliban group arrested several female clothing tailors in various areas of central Kandahar city on Sunday, September 21st.
This action has resulted in dozens of people becoming unemployed in the province.
Local sources confirmed that Taliban forces detained these tailors from Rangrizan Dana, Aino Mina areas, and other parts of the city center.
The Taliban’s Department for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice in Kandahar has also threatened to impose further restrictions on women.
