Sources told Amo that the Ministry of Justice and intelligence forces of the Taliban group have intervened in the reconstruction of the tomb of Sayed Hussein Anwari, former leader of the military wing of the Islamic Movement Party, ordering an immediate halt to all construction work.
The Taliban’s Ministry of Justice has decided to relocate Sayed Hussein Anwari’s body from Eskart Hill located in Darulaman area of Kabul city to another location.
The Justice Minister emphasized during a meeting with project officials that work is completely stopped.
The reason for halting the tomb’s reconstruction by the Taliban group remains unclear, and the group has not officially commented on this matter so far.
