A number of Afghan migrants residing in Austria celebrated “Hazara Solidarity Day” in a gathering.
The program included speeches, poetry recitation, music, dance, and traditional clothing displays.
The Popular Committee of Austrian Hazaras, Hazara Cultural House, and several cultural and social activists hosted this cultural program in Vienna on Sunday, October 5th.
Organizers stated the purpose of this occasion was to review history, examine social and cultural challenges, and strengthen bonds between different generations of Hazaras inside and outside the country.
This day, which has been commemorated since 2011 through the initiative of cultural and social institutions of Hazaras living abroad, has now become a point of connection and solidarity for elites and activists of the Hazara community worldwide.
