Pakistan’s state television released footage of the country’s airstrikes on Taliban positions in Spin Boldak and Chaman.
Reports indicate Pakistani forces used drones to attack targets of both Afghan Taliban and Pakistani Taliban (TTP).
The released videos show military equipment and outposts being hit by missile strikes.
Afghanistan’s National Television, controlled by the Taliban group, claimed Pakistani forces targeted civilians with drone strikes.
The media reported that because of Wednesday morning airstrikes in Spin Boldak district of Kandahar province, 12 civilians were killed and over 100 others wounded.
These attacks followed intense border clashes between the two countries, with both sides claiming to have inflicted heavy casualties on each other.
Pakistan’s military had previously claimed to have captured 19 Taliban border posts.
