Ahmad Massoud, leader of Afghanistan’s National Resistance Front, participated as a special guest at the annual Les Rencontres de l’Avenir conference in France.
He delivered a speech before thousands of participants, discussing Afghanistan’s geopolitical developments and their regional implications.
Massoud emphasized in his speech: “We fight so that the people of Afghanistan have the right to choose and women can study and work.
” He added that armed resistance is not the ultimate goal, but rather a means to achieve a just and sustainable political solution.
The National Resistance Front leader listed values such as freedom, democracy, women’s rights, and freedom of expression among the shared values between the Afghan people and European nations, stating that the Taliban group has suppressed these values.
