Sayed Sami Sadat, former commander of the Ministry of Defense Special Operations Corps and former head of the United Front of Afghanistan, announced the death of his father, Sayed Habibullah Sadat.
His father was a retired officer and commando of the National Defense Ministry.
Sayed Sami Sadat shared this news through his social media page on X.
He is considered the youngest former commander of the Afghan army who held important responsibilities during Ashraf Ghani’s government period.
The funeral and burial ceremony of the late Sayed Habibullah Sadat will be held this afternoon, November 20th, in East London. The Sadat family are among the Afghans residing outside the country.
