Local sources report that on Monday evening, December 8, two powerful explosions struck the central base of the Taliban group in Manjanestu village, Abdullah Khil area, Dara district, Panjshir province.
The first explosion occurred around 7:40 PM, while the second took place as Taliban members were collecting the bodies and wounded of their fighters.
Two other sources also confirmed hearing the blasts, but detailed information about the event and casualties remains unavailable. So far, no individual or group has claimed responsibility for the explosions.
The Taliban group usually denies attacks and explosions on their bases and prevents such incidents from being covered by the media.
