The head of the Shiite Ulema Council and prominent Hazara religious scholars gathered in Herat province to declare their strong support for the Taliban government.
This significant event was organized with the primary goal of strengthening national unity and fostering social cohesion among Afghanistan’s diverse ethnic groups.
Participants emphasized that Shiite scholars stand united with other citizens to maintain order, stability, and peace throughout the country. They stated that in the current situation, supporting the administration is essential for ensuring a stable and unified future for all Afghans.
Mohammad Ismail Ahmadi, a council leader in Herat, remarked that public unity serves as the strongest defense against foreign interference and external conspiracies. Organizers noted that this is the second such public gathering in Herat aimed at reinforcing brotherhood and cooperation with the government.
