44 years after the execution of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan by General Ziaul Haq, the Supreme Court of Pakistan expressed its final opinion on the case.The Supreme Court of this country declared in a verdict that Bhutto was not tried fairly.Following the repeated request of the Pakistan People’s Party led by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the grandson of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, the Supreme Court of Pakistan announced the results of its investigation and verdict.In its verdict, the Supreme Court of Pakistan wrote that the Lahore High Court had not considered the most basic requirements of a fair trial in Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s trial.Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was hanged in Rawalpindi prison on the order of General Ziaul Haq, the former military dictator of Pakistan, on the 15th of 1358. The military government of Ziaul Haq had accused him of murdering Ahmadreza Kasuri, one of the founders of the Pakistan People’s Party.
