Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid asserted in a new audio recording that no group, including the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), is allowed to use Afghan soil against other nations. He stated that this policy has been “firmly” communicated to all groups operating in the region .
Rejecting Islamabad’s claims, Mujahid termed the TTP issue as Pakistan’s internal problem. He questioned how militants could cross the border when even patients are denied entry, pointing to failures by Pakistan’s border forces and intelligence agencies .
These comments follow recent Pakistani airstrikes in Nangarhar and Paktika, which the Taliban claim targeted civilians. The Taliban Ministry of Defense has warned that it will deliver a “calculated response” to Pakistan’s repeated violations at the appropriate time .
