Mustagfir Garbaz, spokesman for the Taliban governor in Khost, announced that Pakistani forces targeted civilian homes in Spera district with mortars and artillery last night. Two children were martyred and two others were injured in these attacks.
According to him, a number of local residents’ homes were also damaged in these attacks. This attack occurred at a time when border tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan have increased.
