The European Union has officially announced the allocation of 250,000 euros in humanitarian aid for displaced persons and earthquake victims across Afghanistan. This funding targets the most vulnerable individuals.
According to the EU, this budget will support approximately 70,000 people in the provinces of Khost, Kunar, Nangarhar, Nuristan, Paktika, and Paktia. Recent border conflicts have displaced thousands of Afghan families needing urgent help.
The financial aid will be distributed through the Afghan Red Crescent Society to provide essential food, cash assistance, and emergency shelter. The European Union remains a leading donor of humanitarian aid to the people of Afghanistan.
