Local authorities have confirmed that at least six people lost their lives following the collapse of three residential roofs in Nangarhar province. The tragic incidents also left seven other individuals severely injured in the affected areas.
Officials state that the majority of the victims and those wounded in these incidents are children. The houses, located in the Pachiragam, Khogyani, and Spin Ghar districts, collapsed due to the recent heavy rains and widespread flooding.
In recent weeks, numerous provinces across Afghanistan have experienced devastating floods. Official reports indicate that the death toll from natural disasters has reached nearly 100, leaving thousands of families displaced and destroying thousands of homes.
