The foreign ministry of the Taliban administration has announced the dispatch of a 530 ton relief shipment to assist the people of Gaza. This aid package is expected to provide essential support to approximately 22,000 families currently living in the war torn region.
The total value of the shipment is estimated at half a million dollars and includes food items, clothing, and other necessary supplies. Additionally, the ministry urged the conflicting parties in Gaza to make meaningful efforts toward establishing a permanent ceasefire.
This humanitarian assistance is being sent while many Afghan citizens are struggling with severe economic hardship and hunger. International organizations have repeatedly warned about the deteriorating living conditions and food insecurity within Afghanistan itself.
