Local officials in Khost province report that a tragic traffic accident has left one person dead and six others injured. This heartbreaking incident occurred on Thursday in the 1200 Family area of the provincial capital.
According to the provincial police spokesperson, a heavy cargo truck collided with three motorcycles and a rickshaw. As a result of this severe crash, one motorcyclist lost his life instantly at the scene.
The individuals injured in this traffic accident were immediately transported to the Khost provincial hospital to receive medical treatment. Traffic accidents in Afghanistan frequently result in high casualties, often blamed on poor road conditions and reckless driving.
