The head of the Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce announced that the country exports to Afghanistan reached five hundred fifty million dollars in the first four months of this year. He described the Afghan market as a rapidly expanding destination for Uzbek goods. Food products like vegetable oil and eggs significantly contributed to this growth.
Reports indicate that the monthly export volume increased from one hundred seventeen million dollars in January to one hundred sixty million dollars in April. Uzbek officials have actively encouraged their local businessmen to seize this golden opportunity to expand commercial ties and discover new markets.
The Ministry of Commerce under the Taliban administration previously reported signing major trade agreements between private sectors of both nations. Uzbekistan is currently striving to boost its total annual trade volume with Afghanistan to five billion dollars.
