The Russian official emphasized Moscow's strong interest in regional stability. He expressed hope that the Taliban government and Pakistan can peacefully resolve their ongoing border disputes through sustained political dialogue and diplomatic channels rather than conflict.
Previously, the Russian Foreign Minister also urged both sides to prioritize negotiations. Russia remains deeply engaged with the Taliban government and recently signed a technical security agreement with their delegation during the international security conference in Moscow.
