The United Arab Emirates' Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly denied reports claiming that approximately three billion dollars were transferred from the UAE to Iran.
In an official statement, the ministry clarified that these allegations are completely false and no frozen Iranian assets have been released or moved through the country.
Earlier media speculations suggested that blocked Iranian funds in Arab countries might have been shifted to Tehran, a claim that is now officially dismissed.
