The Permanent Mission of Afghanistan to the United Nations has strongly condemned recent Pakistani airstrikes on parts of Paktia, Paktika, and Kunar provinces, calling them a serious violation of territorial integrity. The mission emphasized that these deadly military actions completely contradict the core principles of international law.

In an official statement, the mission stressed that no security concern can ever justify military operations that result in the tragic deaths of Afghan civilians. Led by Naseer Ahmad Faiq, the diplomatic mission highlighted that protecting innocent lives must remain the absolute priority under all circumstances.

While criticizing the policies of the current administration, the mission urged Pakistan to immediately halt all military strikes on Afghan soil. It also called upon the international community and the United Nations to take urgent and effective measures to de-escalate tensions and ensure civilian protection.
