The Afghanistan Freedom Front claims to have carried out a targeted attack on a Taliban government urban patrol in Kunduz city, resulting in the death of two members. The incident occurred on Tuesday night.
According to a statement published by the group on social media, the attack took place in the Kabul Bandar area of Karte Ariana. A ranger vehicle carrying Taliban forces was directly targeted in the explosion.
In addition to the two fatalities, one other member of the Taliban government was injured in the incident. A video clip released by the front shows a small explosion occurring on an intercity road.
