She shared these crucial remarks with the media shortly after her important meeting with Taliban government officials and health sector partners.
Hanan Balkhy further emphasized that if coordination in this vital area is effectively increased, the wild polio virus could be completely eradicated in the country within the next twelve months. She strongly added that delivering life-saving vaccines must be done simultaneously with expanding basic health services across all provinces.
