During the meeting, both officials emphasized the critical need for better consular services and enhanced border coordination. The Taliban government officials stated that delivering these services should be easy, fast, and aligned with accepted standards.
The Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister also stressed the importance of expanding consular cooperation. These diplomatic discussions occur while Afghan refugees in Iran continue to face numerous legal and social challenges.
