A recent survey reveals that aid organizations in Afghanistan are facing severe operational challenges. According to the report, seventy-five percent of these agencies have accepted the Taliban government's conditions to continue their activities and retain their female staff.

The most common restriction reported is the requirement for female aid workers to be accompanied by a male chaperone. Many organizations state that women must now travel with a chaperone and are banned from working in offices in certain provinces.

The decline in global financial assistance has also placed immense pressure on these organizations. Many agencies have been forced to lay off Afghan employees, though they continue striving to deliver essential humanitarian services to those in need.
