The United States Department of State has announced the allocation of over $200 million in new humanitarian and relief aid. These vital funds are intended to support international aid organizations in their global missions.
Of this total, approximately $133 million will go directly to the International Committee of the Red Cross programs. Another $70 million has been set aside for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
