Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called on the Afghan government to control terrorist groups if they genuinely desire regional peace. Speaking at a workshop, he emphasized that Afghan territory must not be utilized for militant activities.
Sharif claimed that the Afghan administration has failed to restrain these dangerous factions and that cross-border threats continue. Meanwhile, Afghan government spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid strongly rejected the Prime Minister's accusations regarding the presence of foreign militants.
Mujahid reiterated that it is a core policy of Afghanistan to prevent any group from using its soil against another nation. He advised neighboring countries to share their security concerns through formal diplomatic channels rather than making public accusations.
