The Sepahi Mehan Front, an armed group opposing the Taliban government, has published its twenty-article combat manual. The front announced that on the battlefield, it considers itself fully bound to respect human rights principles and all related international conventions.

According to this document, the front is committed to never attacking civilians and refraining from any torture or degrading treatment of prisoners of war. The group also emphasized that it will absolutely not damage hospitals, educational centers, or public infrastructure.

This group recently gained attention after attacking a district in Badakhshan province. The front is commanded by a former Afghan military officer, and they have openly welcomed international monitoring of their treatment of war prisoners.
