Actor Shilpa Shetty and businessman husband Raj Kundra have approached the Bombay High Court seeking suspension of the Look Out Circular (LOC) against them, so they can travel to London to visit Kundra’s critically ill father.
The couple faces the LOC due to a ₹60-crore fraud case filed by Mumbai Police’s Economic Offences Wing on a complaint from Deepak Kothari.
Kundra’s father is suffering from severe medical complications, prompting an urgent plea for travel permission until January 20, 2026.
The High Court has issued notice to the state and set the next hearing for two weeks. Meanwhile, the complainant has raised concerns about Shetty’s legal documents, adding complexity to the case.
