IOM noted that as climate-related incidents grow in frequency and severity, the number of people requiring urgent assistance has increased significantly. Efforts to deliver aid to affected communities continue with donor support and partner coordination.
The organization stressed the urgent need for increased international support and stronger response capacities to address the expanding consequences of climate change in Afghanistan, prioritizing those most vulnerable.
